1. Introduction

This application (the “App”) is a non-commercial digital tool designed for personal wine cellar management and wine-related recommendations.

By creating an account and using the App, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. Provider

The App is provided by a private individual acting as a natural person (the “Provider”).

3. Eligibility

The App is intended exclusively for users who are at least 18 years old (or the legal drinking age in their country of residence).

By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Nature and Purpose of the App

The App is provided for informational, educational, and recreational purposes only, including:

• Wine cellar management
• Recognition of wine labels from images
• Wine service recommendations (e.g. service temperature, decanting)
• Food–wine pairing suggestions

The App does not provide professional advice (e.g. sommelier, commercial, medical, or nutritional advice).

The App is provided free of charge and is intended for private, non-commercial use by users personally invited by its creator.

Access to the App does not create any commercial relationship, entitlement, or expectation of continuity, availability, or support.

5. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI Transparency)

The App uses artificial intelligence systems to provide certain features, including:

• Recognition of wine labels from uploaded photos
• Identification of wine characteristics
• Automated recommendations related to wine service and food pairing

Users remain fully responsible for their own decisions and actions.

AI-based features are activated solely at the user’s initiative.
The App does not perform automated AI processing in the background without explicit user interaction.
Users remain free not to use AI-based features.

6. User Accounts

Access to the App is provided through individual user accounts:

• Accounts are created upon request and acceptance
• Login is performed using a username and password
• Passwords are stored using strong one-way encryption

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials.

7. User Content

Users may voluntarily upload or enter content, including:

• Wine label photographs
• Wine description (e.g. grape varieties, serving notes, etc.)
• Inventory information (e.g. owned bottles, quantities, cost, storage location, etc.)
• Website usage preferences

By uploading content, users acknowledge that:

• Wine label images may be stored permanently
• Wine label images and wine descriptions may be made visible to other users of the App
• Inventory information is visible only to the user, unless the user explicitly grants access to other users
• Website usage preferences remain visible only to the user, unless otherwise specified

Users must ensure they have the right to upload any content they provide.

8. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful purposes
• Upload content that infringes third-party rights, morality or any applicable law
• Attempt to interfere with the App’s security or functionality
• Use the App in a way that could harm other users

The Provider reserves the right to suspend or terminate access in case of misuse.

9. Non-Commercial Nature and Future Changes

At present, the App is provided free of charge and without commercial intent.

The Provider reserves the right to:

• Introduce commercial features in the future
• Update these Terms accordingly

Users will be informed of material changes and may be required to accept updated Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The App is provided “as is”
• The Provider makes no guarantees regarding accuracy or availability
• The Provider shall not be liable for decisions, losses, or damages arising from use of the App

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by:

• Swiss law, for users in Switzerland
• Applicable EU consumer and data protection law, for users in the European Union

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer protections.
